From 2014-2021 R&D was the downtown Cleveland studio of Matthew Gallagher. A self-funded visual arts, video and performance lab and venue, R&D was a versatile and loosely collectivized organization that brought exemplary, boundary pushing artworks nationally and internationally to Cleveland. Gallagher now lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA.
